Affinia Group Appoints Two New Vice Presidents

Jeff Blocher is the new Vice President of Sales – WIX Filters; Lori Tremonti is Vice President, Global IT Strategy & Sourcing – Affinia Group.

ANN ARBOR, Mich. – Affinia Group Inc., an innovative global leader in the design, manufacture, distribution and marketing of industrial grade products and services, has appointed Jeff Blocher as the new Vice President of Sales – WIX Filters and Lori Tremonti as Vice President, Global IT Strategy & Sourcing – Affinia Group.

Jeff BlocherBlocher, who previously served as Marketing Brand Manager for WIX Filters, will report directly to Keith Wilson, President of Affinia Group Global Filtration. Tremonti, who will coordinate and implement initiatives designed to improve Affinia’s global operating efficiency, will report directly to Kathi G. Mehall, Vice President, Information Technology, Affinia Group.

Lori TremontiBlocher began his career with WIX in 1996 as a district sales manager located in Nashville. For the past 15 years, he has succeeded in numerous sales and marketing roles for the company, including WIX regional manager and CARQUEST Filters brand manager. Blocher began his career working in his parents’ auto parts store before graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University and a Juris Doctorate from Thomas M. Cooley Law School.

Tremonti has many years of experience building world-class, global organizations and transforming technology to drive revenue and profit growth. She was named one of the “Top 10 Women in Technology” in 2005 by the Michigan Council of Women in Technology. Prior to joining Affinia, she served as IT Strategic Sourcing Lead for Accenture, providing leadership and direction on client sourcing opportunities. Tremonti holds an MBA in Finance from Bowling Green State University, and a BSA in Information Systems and Finance from the University of Michigan. She has also completed the Concourse IT Leadership Development Program, in affiliation with the Harvard Business School.
