Alliance Hires Mario Gonzalez as CVHD Program Manager

Gonzalez will report directly to Justin Hebert, director of category management and CVHD at the Alliance.

The Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance announced the hiring of Mario Gonzalez as Commercial Vehicle and Heavy Duty (CVHD) program manager, effective Oct. 1.

In this position, Gonzalez will manage the Alliance CVHD program and be the conduit for business partnerships with manufacturing channel partners while supporting the efforts of Alliance CVHD distributor members.

Gonzalez will report directly to Justin Hebert, director of category management and CVHD at the Alliance.

“Mario Gonzalez brings a strong industry background to the table and has shown he’s an effective business facilitator,” Hebert said. “His job duties will involve direct interaction with heavy-duty manufacturing channel partners and our heavy-duty distributor members, and will work with the Alliance Information Technology and Sales & Marketing teams to drive growth and strategic improvements to the CVHD program.”

Prior to joining the Alliance CVHD program, Gonzalez was filtration brand ambassador and district sales manager for MANN+HUMMEL and was responsible for client relations, contract negotiation, sales processes, account planning, customer loyalty and business communications.

Gonzalez holds an associate degree from St. Philip’s College in Automobile/Automotive Mechanics, and most recently attended the Northwood University HD Leadership 2.0 class in July 2023.

The Alliance Commercial Vehicle & Heavy-Duty program launched in early 2022 and continues to grow in scope and membership. The focus of the Alliance CVHD program starts with unparalleled technology with a suite of IT tools related to inventory analysis, category management, distribution efficiencies and e-commerce, according to the Alliance.
