Automotive Distribution Network Launches The Network Academy

The learning portal, powered by AVI, offers more than 500 hours of online streaming automotive education content.

The Network announced the creation of The Network Academy, an online training resource for Parts Plus and Auto Pride warehouse distributors.

The newly launched Network Academy offers “robust online self-paced training for technicians, service advisors and parts professionals,” according to The Network.

The learning portal, powered by AVI, offers more than 500 hours of online streaming automotive education content, with new industry-driven content added every month. The new learning portal from The Network is offered to its members for the sole purpose of advancement of their professional skills and capabilities.

The Network Academy catalog of courses offers multiple training genres that fit all categories of automotive professionals, including resources on technical, managerial, parts professionals, counterman training as well as automotive technician instruction in diagnostics, drivability, diesel, hybrid and electrical systems.

The Network Academy also contains a robust collection of ASE test-preparation classes to prepare for those all-important ASE certification examinations.

The easy-to-navigate learning portal allows the student to choose their courses of interest, train at their convenience, apply those new skills to their professional toolbox and get better results through applying that training to their chosen profession, The Network noted.

Once each user logs in to the Academy website, their individual “dashboard” will not only show them their customizable profile, but also show the courses they have access to as well as recommended career pathways for a complete multi-course guidance on a specified discipline.

Other features of The Network Academy:

  • Complete interactive content including streaming video, quizzes and additional resources
  • Automatic reports that are generated for the student to show course progress and quiz success
  • Accessible anytime, anywhere on the student’s schedule
  • Ability to “ask the instructor” questions via email
  • Thorough ASE Test Prep classes to fully prepare the student for certification testing

Features also include an event calendar, industry blog, tech tips, technical articles, industry news and an opportunity to test the student’s knowledge with a quick quiz.
