Automotive Parts Associates announced that the 2022 “SunSplash” customer-incentive trip was “a huge success.”
More than 200 shop owners, service technicians, APA shareholders and suppliers were in attendance.
SunSplash is an incentive program offered through Automotive Parts Associates shareholders. Shop owners who purchase from APA shareholders earn points toward the cost of the trip.
In addition to four nights and five days at the all-inclusive Live Aqua Resort in Cancun, attendees enjoyed relaxing in the sun, group excursions to the Ruins, a ferry ride to the island of Isla Mujeres and a cash giveaway party on the final evening, during which 20 lucky winners took home $500 each.
“It was just a fantastic experience for all who went,” APA President Steve Tucker said. “I keep saying that this is a relationship business, and trips like this just serve to reinforce that fact and help to cement the supplier-distributor and customer relationships. We couldn’t have done this without our supplier partners, and I want to extend a special thank you to all of them that help us every day. Hats off also to our staff and our shareholders for making this event the success that it was and will continue to be.”
Lastly, with the rising concerns of COVID-19, the trip cancellations were minimal. In order to return to the United States, all guests were required to take a COVID test. All APA guests tested negative and were all able to return to the United States.
