Automotive Parts Associates Welcomes Things N Things

Automotive Parts Associates (APA) announced that is recently welcomed its newest TruStar member to the APA family: Things N Things LLC.

After years of being a tax accountant, Charles Appertey decided to take the plunge into his next chapter. In 2004, Appertey founded Things N Things in Phoenix, where he operates a warehouse for distribution.

“I wasn’t in a group at the time and was told about APA and their offerings,” Appertey said when asked asked why Things N Things chose to join APA. “After researching, APA was the group to join.”

APA President Steve Tucker added: “We are proud Charles Appertey chose APA as their partner for the future. Growing together is not just a slogan for us – it’s why we’re here. TruStar members get access to data solutions, marketing programs and other tools that they did not have access to as an independent. We are glad Things N Things decided to join us.”

Bodh received his award at The Group’s annual membership conference and expo in National Harbor, Maryland.

“The Art Fisher Memorial award is the highest recognition available to our membership and this year the award is being presented to a Federated member, Chris Bodh, who has demonstrated outstanding dedication to the overall goals and objectives of the Federated group,” said Bo Fisher, chairman of Federated Auto Parts. “Although the award is presented as an annual award, it really recognizes the long-term dedication that Chris has provided through his support, involvement, counsel and loyalty to the Federated group. My dad would have been very proud to give recognition to Chris, who has worked hard and shared the same passion for Federated, our membership and our industry, as he did.”
