Federal-Mogul Motorparts To Offer Free Light Vehicle Inspections As Part Of Fall Car Care Awareness Month At Its Van Nuys Technical Service Center

Federal-Mogul Motorparts' ASE-certified technicians will perform complimentary maintenance inspections on wipers, lighting, fluid, tires, and many other vehicle parts. Inspections will be available on a first-come, first-served basis and conducted using the vehicle check-up form provided by the Auto Care Association.

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. — October is National Fall Car Care Awareness Month, and Federal-Mogul Motorparts wants to help educate consumers about the importance of regular vehicle maintenance.  On Saturday, Oct. 24 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. PDT, the Garage Gurus at Motorparts’ Van Nuys, Calif., Technical Support Center will be on-site for a car care awareness event, including free multi-point light vehicle inspections. The TSC is located at 15039 Raymer Street, Van Nuys, and will be open to the general public for the event.

Federal-Mogul Motorparts’ ASE-certified technicians will perform complimentary maintenance inspections on wipers, lighting, fluid, tires and many other vehicle parts. Inspections will be available on a first-come, first-served basis and conducted using the vehicle check-up form provided by the Auto Care Association.

“Our Garage Gurus provide ongoing training and technical support to vehicle repair specialists in Van Nuys and the surrounding area,” said Jesse Rebolledo, TSC Manager, Federal-Mogul Motorparts.  “By offering free vehicle inspections to residents of our local community, we want to put a spotlight on the importance of regular vehicle maintenance and the role of the skilled vehicle repair specialist in helping to maintain proper vehicle safety, reliability and performance.”

Attendees will receive a vehicle inspection checklist that they can take to the vehicle repair specialist of their choice to address any areas of concern. In addition to the free inspections, refreshments will be provided.
