Hanson Distributing Co. Joins Federated Auto Parts

Hanson Distributing Co. supplies automotive products throughout California from nine distribution points and 10 company-store locations.

Federated Auto Parts recently welcomed a new member: Hanson Distributing Co.

Azusa, California-based Hanson Distributing will be able to take advantage of the support offered by Federated and the Automotive Parts Services Group.

Hanson Distributing Co. supplies automotive products throughout California from nine distribution points and 10 company-store locations. The company, founded in 1954 by Merrill and Marjorie Hanson, is operated by second-generation owners Daniel Hanson and his wife, Sue Hanson. The next generation, children Dan Jr., Dave and Laurie Hanson, are active in the business and provide a solid foundation for the future.

Dan Hanson Jr., who currently serves on the Hanson board of directors, is active in the industry, serving as chairman of CAWA and on the Automotive Warehouse Distributors Association board of governors.

Hanson Distributing Co. has an aggressive rollout planned for the Federated program with its customers, including enhanced information technology processes, marketing programs and customer support along with a complete training program for customers and associates.
