HDA Truck Pride has expanded its presence in Atlantic Canada with the addition of the Bayview Group.
The Bayview Group is a second-generation family-owned business that has served Atlantic Canada for more than 50 years. With 10 locations, Bayview serves the commercial-vehicle market in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. The company provides truck and trailer parts, truck service and collision repair.
Mike Nagle Sr. founded the Bayview Group in 1972 and served as the company’s leader for the following 22 years. In 1994, Nagle Sr. stepped down and handed the company’s reins to his 26-year-old son, Mike Nagle Jr., who has led the company for 30 years.
“The company’s future is in secure hands with Mike Jr.’s sons, Adam and Chris, inheriting both their father’s work ethic and love for the industry,” HDA Truck Pride said in a news release. “Adam and Chris will provide Bayview a strong focus and leadership for decades to come. They have extensive experience in the commercial-vehicle market and have balanced this with experience and education in other industries as well. Bayview has a very experienced aftermarket management staff to support their growth ambitions. That talent coupled with their resources and strong family management will propel them to new heights.”
Tina Hubbard, president, and CEO of HDA Truck Pride, added: “People and community lie at the heart of HDA Truck Pride. The Nagle family’s remarkable dedication of over 50 years to both the trucking industry and the community of Atlantic Canada resonates deeply. We are enthusiastic about championing the Bayview Group as they continue to grow in the next chapter of their journey.”
