Porsche and PFC Bremse Partner To ‘Make The Car Quicker’

With the start of the 2013 season, PFC Bremse will be a partner and official supplier of Porsche Motorsport.

CLOVER, S.C. — Performance Friction and Porsche are entering the debut year of a very exciting and long-awaited partnership, the companies say. With the start of the 2013 season, PFC Bremse will be a partner and official supplier of Porsche Motorsport.

PFC’s partnership with Porsche was built on a mutual set of values, objectives, and mentality that reflect that philosophy, the company says. And as a result, all Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (Type 991) cars will be outfitted with a new PFC brake package formulated specifically for the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (Type 991).

PFC’s ZERO DRAG brake technology has won the "Most Innovative Motorsports Product of the Year" Award at the World Motorsports Symposium in 2012.

The 911 GT3 991 Cup’s PFC Bremse system is set apart by its lightweight design, high-temperature strength materials and Zero Drag technology, the company says. Together, Porsche and PFC have developed a system that’s lighter, stiffer, cooler, and, ultimately, makes the car quicker, the companies say.
