The Pronto Smart Choice Service Center program provides concise, easy-to-implement programs that are developed in conjunction with their service center partners. These programs build loyalty and install confidence with consumers. Program elements include customer retention and targeted marketing programs, roadside assistance reimbursement for consumers and a nationwide warranty that gives Pronto customers the confidence of knowing their repair is covered anywhere in the U.S. and Canada for 24 months or 24,000 miles. In addition, the Smart Choice program provides technician support programs, including ASE test reimbursement for service technicians and a comprehensive training academy.

To assist small- and medium-sized business owners, Pronto offers business solutions programs including shop insurance, financing, car rental discounts and shop management systems. The MYAutoAware program is an aftermarket-friendly suite of software solutions that level the playing field in connected car care telematics and provide members with a cost-effective, data-rich, commercially viable option.

Recently, National Pronto Association and Federated Auto Parts agreed to combine a majority of their efforts and resources to improve service and support to all constituents and formed the Automotive Parts Services Group, also known as The Group. With a focus on being best-in-class in providing overall value and support within the auto care industry, The Group has a combined sales volume exceeding $7 billion with more than 5,000 outlets in North America, allowing it to improve member services, better compete in the aftermarket, and best serve its valued service provider customers.

While both Pronto and Federated headquarters will remain in place and continue to support their respective member’s needs, marketing programs and brands, The Group will move to shared resources in areas that offer efficiencies and improvement opportunities, such as IT and data management, electronic catalog, Co-Man warehouse, national accounts, line commonality and other support programs. Both Pronto and Federated will continue to respect the tradition of each association, while combining efforts to embrace change in order to thrive in an ever-evolving auto care industry.
