Selling Camshaft and Crankshaft Position Sensors

Selling Camshaft and Crankshaft Position Sensors

Something important to keep in mind is that there’s no scheduled service for these sensors.

The crankshaft position sensor and camshaft position sensor monitor the position or rotational speed of the engine’s internal rotating components, such as the camshafts and crankshaft.

This precise measurement is used to accurately identify the relationship between the pistons and valves in the engine. This information is sent to an engine computer, which utilizes the data to adjust the timing of the valves, fuel injectors and ignition coils.

Something important to keep in mind is that there’s no scheduled service for camshaft of crankshaft sensors. So, regardless of the cause of failure, they must be replaced when the failure occurs.

Considering just how important these sensors are to the performance and health of the engine, be sure to recommend a high-quality replacement sensor from a trusted manufacturer.
