There are two main types of springs used in suspension systems: coil springs and leaf springs.

When we talk about suspension systems, shocks and struts usually get all the glory. But springs should get a best supporting acting role at the very least.

Springs are responsible for absorbing and distributing the forces and vibrations that occur when a vehicle encounters uneven surfaces or bumps on the road. They act as a buffer between the tires and the chassis, providing a cushioning effect and preventing excessive jolts and shocks from reaching the vehicle’s occupants.
