WIX Filters Releases New Racing Filter Catalog

WIX racing line designed to cover full range of motorsports applications.

GASTONIA, N.C. – WIX Filters has released a new Racing Filter Catalog featuring oil, air and fuel filters as well as mounting bases engineered for top-motorsport performance. WIX’s line of racing filters covers NASCAR Sprint Cup, Nationwide, Camping World Truck and ARCA, as well as dirt track, off-road and drag racing.

“WIX engineers continuously work with the top racing teams in the development and design of the WIX racing filter line,” said Mike Harvey, brand manager for WIX Filters, the No. 1 filter in motorsports, according to Harvey.

“Our expert-engineered motorsports filters have been tested and proven in competition since the 1960s to ensure we provide the highest-quality products for teams and drivers," said Harvey. "This catalog is a single source to find the best filter for any racing need.”

The catalog, last released in 2008, offers two different and distinct racing filter lines based on desired engine performance and protection. For maximum flow and horsepower, the lowest restriction pure racing media filters are recommended, according to WIX. However, when endurance and better engine protection are needed, WIX’s high efficiency endurance media filters are the correct choice, the company says.

The WIX Racing Filter Catalog includes detailed filter specifications, a stock OEM filter location and application list for Chrysler, Ford and General Motors/Chevrolet engines, plus a filter cross reference list.
