HOLLY, Mich. — Automotive performance chemical maker Rislone will be attending this year’s GoPro Mountain Games in Vail, Colorado starting June 4. The four-day event is the country’s largest celebration of adventure sports where athletes from all over the world come together to compete in nine sports and 25 disciplines for a chance to win cash and prizes.
The summer sporting event, a project of the Vail Valley Foundation, will include competitions in x-country, road cycling, extreme kayaking, surf cross and road and mud running, along with several free concerts and film festivals. The event attracts more than 3,000 athletes and 53,000 spectators to Vail each year.
Rislone’s participation in this event is part of their ongoing commitment to the performance enthusiast community, the company says.
“This is our first time attending the GoPro Mountain Games, and we couldn’t be more excited. We love the high energy and spectacular performances in the games and are looking forward to participating and interacting with the games attendees,” explains Carrie Mermuys-Ventura, president of Rislone.
The Rislone tent will be located in the Gerber Gear Town section of the event. They will host onsite engagement activities for event attendees, including Nerf gun target challenges. Those who participate will have a chance to win Rislone’s most popular products, as well as t-shirts, hats and temporary tattoos.
The brand spokespeople, Bobby Janiec and Caitlin Burt, will be joining the Rislone team at the event on Saturday, June 6.
