Hastings Premium Filters Honored By Federated Auto Parts

The Vendor of the Year - Order Fill award was awarded based on voting by the Federated members and is presented to the vendor that has provided the highest percent of order fill to the members.

PHOENIX — Hastings Premium Filters recently received Vendor of the Year for order fill from Federated Auto Parts. The award was presented at the Federated national meeting held April 30-May 2 at the Pointe Hilton Squaw Peak in Phoenix, Ariz.

Hastings has earned this honor four of the past seven years. Hastings also was recognized for its support of Federated’s National Car Care Program.

Phil Kommers, Hastings vice president aftermarket sales, along with Hastings Regional Sales Managers Tom Feery, Greg Hopkins, Terry Makinster and Jim Preller, attended the Federated meeting.

"It is indeed an honor to be recognized by the members of Federated as a vendor of the year," Kommers said. "Federated members are great partners, and we appreciate being recognized as a key supplier."

In addition to being onhand for the awards ceremony, the Hastings sales team met with individual Federated members during one-on-one meetings to discuss the Hastings brand.

Federated Auto Parts, which is headquartered in Staunton, Va., is one of the largest auto parts distributor marketing groups in North America.
