TORONTO — Mevotech’s Canadian engineering team has designed a new line of high-performance ball joints using patented technology that the company says significantly extends service life. The new line was created to address ball joint failure issues in extreme duty applications. Engineered specifically to withstand the demands of extreme duty applications and extended maintenance cycles, TTX Terrain Tough ball joints are backed by the company’s limited lifetime warranty.

To support the escalating demand for TTX ball joints, Mevotech has released 10 new part numbers. Included in this release are several front upper ball joints for Chevrolet Silverado and Ford Explorer models, as well as the Front Lower ball joint for the Nissan NV200. The Nissan NV200 ball joint comes pre-packaged with Mevotech’s new Bootstaller tool, which enables the installer to easily seat the ball joint boot after it has been installed in the control arm. Also released is the front upper ball joint for the Ford 2005-‘14 F450 and F550 Super Duty pickup trucks, featuring a high-strength ball pin.
