Bosch re-launches Boschdiagnostics.com

WARREN, Mich. – Bosch has announced the re-launch of www.boschdiagnostics.com in North America, continuing to update all its sites to a mobile-responsive, intuitive design. The URL contains three separate sites, featuring DIY diagnostic tools (DIY), professional diagnostic tools (PRO) and crash data retrieval (CDR) tools. The layout pulls all Bosch diagnostic products into an easily navigable homepage while still providing access to all facets of the diagnostics portfolio, the company says.

Within the Bosch Diagnostics site, users can choose between PRO, DIY or CDR sections. Each section features easier navigation, better performance and improved product search functionality for an enhanced user experience.

Technicians will find the Bosch diagnostics tools they’ve trusted for years in the PRO section, in addition to the new heavy-duty scan tool, ESI[truck]. Needed tools are easier to find and displayed categorically on the homepage, making it easier for professionals to locate the tools they need to fix vehicles.

The site will also store Bosch diagnostics webinars and training sessions for quick reference on valuable technician training. Technicians looking to purchase Bosch diagnostic tools will find a ‘Where to buy’ section full of the most popular distributors and resellers. Lastly, technicians can register and update their diagnostic tools on the site and easily contact Bosch for any service or support needs.

Emergency personnel and accident investigators looking for Bosch’s CDR tools will be shown a clean layout with easy access to information on all CDR tools and accessories. Information on training sessions and a glossary will help provide visitors with what they need to learn on a CDR tool or serve as a refresher for those familiar with the tools.

The DIY section showcases Bosch’s new line of diagnostic and test-tune tools for the DIYer. The new line, available at O’Reilly Auto Parts stores nationwide, features six diagnostic tools for OBDI and OBDII, timing lights, multimeters, inspection scopes, compression testers and more. Each product page links directly to the corresponding O’Reilly product page, so DIYers can easily find and purchase the tool that best suits their needs. An OBDII code lookup, vehicle coverage charts and engine sensor glossary provide resources for the DIYer to help fix their vehicle.

The Code Lookup page also has a rotator that scrolls through commonly-needed features on scan tools. These include showing which Bosch diagnostic tools have ABS and airbag coverage, or the CodeConnect database of more than 26 million fixes. Dedicated icons also showcase the capabilities of each tool on the product page, for easy comparison and for the DIYer to select the right tool for their needs.
