ROANOKE, Va. Advance Auto Parts kicked off a new initiative that will offer training and business growth solutions to more than 100 commercial customers at an event on Thursday, Aug. 2 in Orlando, Fla. The full-day training event is the first in a series of local events planned for commercial customers across the country.
“Advance strives to be a partner in every way possible with our commercial customers,” said Amy Bonder, vice president sales and commercial effectiveness at Advance Auto Parts. “We want garages in Florida to know that Advance is a key partner in helping them grow their business. Our goal is to create customers for life.”
The program includes sessions on leadership training, best practices in customer service and retention and introductions to Advance eServices, offered exclusively by Advance Auto Parts Professional to help increase shop productivity. According to Advance, these eServices include MotoLogic, the industry’s most technologically advanced diagnostic and repair information resource, and Advance Shop Marketing powered by DriverSide, which allows shops to quickly and easily attract, build and retain customers.
Key manufacturers, including ToughOne, Wearever, Tenneco, BWD and Dayco, will provide presentations at the event. Hosted at the JW Marriott, the event concludes with a group dinner and a fundraising event, with one customer earning the opportunity to award $500 to a charity of their choice.
