AIRTEX Adds 360 Degree Photos To Its Online Product Catalog

According to Airtex, the online resource provides smooth, interactive functionality that allows users to view all necessary angles of each product.

FAIRFIELD, Ill. – Technicians, counter professionals and do-it-yourselfers now have the ability to see every angle of an Airtex fuel pump. Airtex Fuel Delivery Systems has added 360-degree photos as the latest product support resource available within its online product search catalog.

According to Airtex, the online resource provides smooth, interactive functionality that allows users to view all necessary angles of each product. It’s often difficult to see all of the important features of a fuel pump, like electrical connections, inlets/outlets, fuel line fittings, etc. Now, by simply clicking and dragging the photo, the user can rotate to the exact spot that needs to be viewed. The 360-degree photos are just another added support piece to the already feature-packed product catalog on www.airtexproducts.com, the company says.

Searching applications by VIN, year/make/model or part number provides customers with product specific installation and tech tip videos, instruction sheets, technical service bulletins and more. Like the rest of the site, the 360 images are also touchscreen mobile-friendly.

"We added the 360-degree photo function to our online catalog in order to help our channel partners and their customers verify that the correct pump was being selected for their application needs," said Brandon Kight, AIRTEX director of marketing. “There are times when two or more options are available for certain vehicles. The only difference might be an EVAP line or inlet/outlet angle. Now, customers can feel confident they are getting the right part for the job. This saves time and money, reduces returns and helps better ensure a successful installation. This new feature just goes hand-in-hand with our philosophy of providing unmatched support.”

Currently, 360-degree functionality is available for more than 350 Airtex products, with more being added daily. Soon, all Airtex fuel delivery will have 360-degree images available, the company says.
