Arnott Announces New West Coast Distribution Center

New California-based distribution center will provide customers in Western United States with faster deliveries at a reduced cost.

MERRITT ISLAND, Fla. – Arnott Inc. has announced the opening of a new West Coast Distribution Center in California. The new facility is part of Arnott’s ongoing commitment to enhance customer support in North America and across the world.

The distribution center will primarily serve customers in the Mountain and Pacific Time Zones along with Alaska and Hawaii. Since Arnott’s main distribution center is located at the company headquarters in Merritt Island, Fla., the new site will dramatically reduce freight costs and shorten delivery times for Arnott customers in the Western U.S., the company says.

Prior to opening the new distribution center, customers in some parts of the west had to wait five or six days for Arnott parts shipped via UPS Ground. Now, those same areas will receive Arnott’s air suspension products in half the time and overnight in some locations in Southern California and Nevada.

"It’s important for us to continue providing each of our customers with the parts they need as quickly as possible," said Todd Nash, senior vice president of global sales and marketing at Arnott Inc. "At Arnott, we understand that time is money, and with this new distribution center, our customers will be able to benefit from faster delivery, which means faster repairs at higher margins."

Nash added, "We will continue to look for other distribution alternatives to better serve our customers in all markets."

The company noted that not all Arnott parts are currently available out of the West Coast Distribution Center and large bulk orders may still be shipped from Arnott’s East Coast Headquarters.
