GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. More than 1,640 service technicians, parts store owners and other automotive aftermarket professionals attended the Auto Value Bumper to Bumper Parts Store and Tech Expo in Chicago, Ill., Feb. 23-Feb. 24.
It was the second of two events, the first was held in Grand Rapids, Mich. With the completion of this event, Auto-Wares educated more than 4,300 people between the two Expos.
One of the most exciting training sessions covered the emerging telematics technology presented by Aftermarket Telematics Technologies. Shop owners were eager to learn about this aftermarket solution to connect with customers’ vehicles to provide better maintenance and repair for their vehicles. Many service center owners and technicians expressed interest in deploying this program in their businesses.
In addition to the training opportunities, a large booth show was held with more than 200 manufacturers represented. Attendees were able to see the latest product offering from these vendors all under one roof. Attendees were also able to make purchases at the show at special savings for their businesses.
