Ben Tire Distributors Chooses eXceed by Signal Extraprise for All Wholesale, Retail Operations

PITTSBURGH, Pa. – Signal Extraprise has been awarded a contract by Toledo, Ill.-based Ben Tire Distributors Ltd., to deploy eXceed-Wholesale in the company’s seven Midwest distribution warehouses and eXceed-Retail in 29 Neal Tire and Auto Service centers. The integration of eXceed-Retail and eXceed-Wholesale provides each retail location with an expanded virtual inventory by viewing the wholesale inventory of the warehouses.

Signal’s eXceed-Retail is a business management system resulting from a cooperative development with major tire industry partners, designed for tire service retailers and tire dealers with a mix of wholesale and retail business. eXceed-Wholesale is a wholesale-specific application designed with all the productivity features required to successfully compete in the highly demanding, competitive wholesale tire business sector.

In announcing the new agreement, Dave Dillier, systems manager for Ben Tire Distributors said, “We sought the superior tire and auto service information technology solution for our multi-state, multi-location wholesale and retail business and determined that eXceed by Signal Extraprise has been designed to meet our requirements. Ben Tire and Neal Tire have taken pride in providing exceptional service and superior value to its customers since 1925 and our technology partnership with Signal Extraprise will further enhance that commitment by leveraging the power of eXceed.”

Signal Extraprise President and CEO A.J. McKenna added, “Ben Tire is a rapidly growing company that is extending its footprint in the Midwest, with a well-earned reputation for commitment to quality and service. By selecting Signal Extraprise, they have validated our status as the leading IT supplier to tire dealers.”
