TROY, Mich. — The Bendix marketing team is offering its warehouse distributor (WD) customers two new customizable promotions that feature downloadable marketing materials and images for use throughout the year. WDs can use these rewards programs with their customers, including an opportunity be a VIP guest at a National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) race.
The Bendix “NHRA Racing” program allows customers to utilize tickets and VIP hospitality passes to the hottest NHRA races. Friction Materials partners with its sister brands, FRAM, Prestone and Autolite, to offer customers a memorable experience at the track cheering on Cory McClenathan and his FRAM Top Fuel dragster. The brands have been sponsors of NHRA dating back as far as 1985, marking more than two decades in the sport.
“Our sales team will work with customers to develop a program that fits their needs, drives sales and generates excitement,” said Jim Kelley, director of sales, North America for Friction Materials. “We know a lot of folks in our industry are huge motorsports fans. This type of program affords distributors an opportunity to reward their customers for their business.”
In addition to the NHRA program, the Bendix team has created the “Cruising In Style” 3-level certificate program. Anytime during 2010, WDs can launch their own in-house program and reward their customers with certificates that can be redeemed for popular apparel like jackets, pullovers and footwear. The program runs all year and certificate and brochure orders may be placed online at www.buybendix.com.
The complete NHRA calendar of 2010 events is listed online at www.nhra.com. Customers can get tickets through their Bendix sales representative or email [email protected] for more information.
