MIDLAND, Mich. – The University of the Aftermarket’s Heavy Duty Leadership program concluded July 26 on Northwood University’s campus in Midland, Mich. The class graduated from the program on Friday, after an intensive week of interactive, heavy-duty aftermarket-focused classes.
Heavy Duty Leadership is designed to foster the development of the next generation of commercial vehicle aftermarket professionals. This year’s class represented heavy-duty distribution, programmed distribution, OES, manufacturing, association management and marketing organizations.
“It was a great week of interactive programs designed to engage and challenge the aftermarket leaders of tomorrow,” said University of the Aftermarket Director Brian Cruickshank. “This was our second Heavy Duty Leadership class and we look forward to making this an annual event. There is clearly a need and the industry is supporting it.”
Participants received 3.5 credits toward completion of their Automotive Aftermarket Professional (AAP) or Master Automotive Aftermarket Professional (MAAP) certifications.
