Expanded Epicor AAPEX Exhibit To Showcase ‘Business Inspired’ Solutions

Epicor also will highlight several innovative tools that are designed to help distributors and store operators outperform their competitors through keen insight to emerging business trends and the ability to provide demonstrably better service levels.

DUBLIN, Calif. – Epicor Software Corp. plans to showcase an extensive portfolio of innovative solutions for the aftermarket in the company’s expanded exhibit – themed “Business Inspired” – at this year’s AAPEX.

“Inspired solutions for the aftermarket help distributors, manufacturers and service providers become more efficient and profitable while providing an exceptional customer experience,” said Craig McCollum, executive vice president and general manager, retail distribution solutions for Epicor. “The inspiration that drives this competitive advantage comes through our decades of aftermarket leadership, our unique ability to provide the customer with a choice of solutions and our commitment to listening to the customer and then delivering solutions that meet their unique needs.”

Among the latest solutions that will be demonstrated in the Epicor exhibit (booth No. 2234) at the Sands Expo and Convention Center are new versions of the Epicor Eagle and Epicor Vision software for replacement parts distributors and jobbers; Internet AutoParts (IAP), a leading aftermarket e-Commerce sourcing solutions acquired by Epicor in April 2012; the Epicor ListingExpert automated online selling solution for eBay Motors; and Epicor Integrated Service Estimator (ISE), a leading Web-based mechanical repair estimating solution that integrates with tire, oil and lube, transmission and other point of sale platforms.

Epicor also will highlight several innovative tools that are designed to help distributors and store operators outperform their competitors through keen insight to emerging business trends and the ability to provide demonstrably better service levels. These include the Epicor Compass performance management tool, which provides up-to-the-minute visibility into key business metrics; the Epicor Vista market intelligence solution, which helps users identify the right stocking assortments based on emerging local and national demand patterns; Epicor WebDocs, a time- and money-saving document management solution that provides customers 24/7 access to invoices, statements and other information; and Epicor Dispatch and Delivery System, which enables businesses to more efficiently manage every aspect of their parts delivery operations.

“Visitors to our AAPEX exhibit will have the chance to see and learn how each of these inspired solutions has helped their peers increase operational efficiency and strengthen their bottom line,” said McCollum. “Then we can help each business owner or manager identify and address their most pressing competitive needs so they can become our next aftermarket success story.”
