STAUNTON, Va. More than 200 customers of Federated member Motown Automotive attended the company’s 10th annual Motown Automotive Golf Classic, held Aug. 15 at the Oak Pointe Country Club in Brighton, Mich. The golf outing was one of several events taking place this year in celebration of Motown’s 40th anniversary.
“We want to thank all our customers who took time out of their busy schedules to participate in our annual golf classic,” said Thomas Litzinger, director of sales and marketing for Motown Automotive. “This is our most important event of the year and it was great to see so many of our loyal customers and suppliers out on the course. We hope everyone had a good time and are very glad they could help us celebrate this milestone anniversary.”
In addition to Motown customers, many of Federated’s manufacturing partners participated in the golf outing and provided sponsorship support. Tom Hessert, driver of the Federated ARCA car, was also on-hand for the festivities. The Motown golf classic was followed by dinner and an awards ceremony where the winning foursome of John Farmer, Steven Sprich, Tim Couturier and Bob Sprich, 30-year owner of Midas Auto Service in Grand Rapids, Mich., was recognized with top honors.
