IMR Releases Replacement Rate Data Mapped to ACES Codes

IMR’s Replacement Rate Data is available for more than 140 parts and services and can be customized by geographic region.

WESTMONT, Ill. — IMR Inc. has announced the availability of its Replacement Rate Data mapped to ACES (Aftermarket Catalog Enhanced Standards) codes.

IMR’s Replacement Rate Data is available for more than 140 parts and services and can be customized by geographic region. Additional data is available that helps quantify both DIFM and DIY activity for all service events, channel share metrics representing all service outlets (new car dealers, independent repair shops, retailers, etc), as well as consumer demographics. The data can be integrated with providers of ACES information to provide a robust solution for inventory management.

IMR’s Replacement Rate Data can also be combined with Experian Automotive’s AutoCount Vehicles in Operation data to help aftermarket companies make better “build or buy,” assortment planning and product obsolescence decisions.

“We are excited to have IMR, ACES and Experian Automotive information brought together in ways that empower companies to make smarter, more profitable decisions,” said Bill Thompson, president and CEO of IMR Inc. “In order to do that, companies need replacement rate data that is cost-effective and can easily be integrated with other data sources to provide the efficiencies they’re trying to achieve.”
