MEMPHIS, Tenn. Lowe Automotive Warehouse of St. Louis, Mo., has joined the Automotive Distribution Network as a Parts Plus member, according to Mike Lambert, president of the Network.
“The addition of Lowe Automotive fills a recent void for the Network in the Missouri, Illinois and Wisconsin markets,” Lambert said. “We’re confident that Lowe will become a strong business partner with the area’s numerous Parts Plus auto stores and Car Care Centers.”
Lowe Automotive Warehouse was founded by Norm Lowe in 1965. Jeff Lowe, his son and current owner, joined the company in 1979. In 1986, the business expanded to Bloomington, Ill., and then into Chicago and Milwaukee. In 2007, the company merged with Jefferson County Auto Parts. Today, the business includes five warehouses and five stores.
“We feel the marketing, product, national account and IT initiatives available in the Parts Plus toolbox will enable us to grow our business with independent jobbers and service dealers, while strengthening our relationships with our vendor partners,” said Jeff Lowe, president. “The Parts Plus program has been and will continue to be an asset to jobbers, while the Car Care Center concept has always been something unique that distinguishes the best service dealers from the competition. And with the added quality manufacturers we now have access to, it’s an added benefit for our customer base.”
