ANN ARBOR, Mich. — MAHLE Clevite Inc. recently introduced the 2012-2013 Medium Duty Diesel Catalog (AP-90-12). This inaugural catalog includes applications for Dodge, Ford and General Motors diesel trucks, and contains full product line coverage – engine kits, engine bearings, gaskets, cylinder block parts, valve train and ancillary parts, and turbochargers. The instructions and technical information in the catalog are supported in English, Spanish and French and is now available for PDF download on www.mahle-aftermarket.com.
The new catalog can also be viewed in Launchpad (a portal of electronic catalogs), allowing a convenient way to search, view and/or purchase parts within one user experience by entering the model or OE number. It quickly links users to a results page, which displays applications and parts available. Furthermore, the results page features a “Details” icon that brings up a pop-up window with interchanges, specifications, packaging data and images – with the option to enlarge the image for a closer look.
As with all electronic catalogs offered through Launchpad, the new Medium Duty Diesel catalog includes an “Add-to-Cart” ordering function tied directly into customer accounts, so users can purchase parts just as easily as they can find them. Users do not have to be logged in to search for an application, but do need to be logged into their account to use the online purchasing tool.
