When your customer needs a new clutch component, it’s a good idea to recommend a clutch kits instead of replacing individual components. 

There are several reasons for this. 

Clutch components tend to fail around the same time, so it’s a good idea to replace all of them to restore the system back to original condition.

The other thing to consider is that replacing the clutch is one of the most labor-intensive jobs on a vehicle, so you might as well do the whole repair at the same time with the transmission removed from the engine.
