Registration for the 2010 International Auto Parts & Accessories Show (Taipei AMPA) are projected to hit a record 2,700 booths and attract more than 6,000 international buyers, according to Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA). The 2009 AMPA attracted more than 5,200 foreign buyers, a 22 percent increase compared to 2008.
The 26th AMPA claims to be Asia’s largest aftermarket trade show. The 2010 show will be held on April 12-15 at TWTC Nangang Exhibition Hall in Taipei, Taiwan. At this show, attendees can spot new trends and products 12 to 18 months before they hit the market. AMPA 2010 will have a special focus on parts and accessories for electric cars. This year, TPMS sensors, new LED lighting applications and battery technology will be the stars of the show. Also, many large manufacturers will show new lines of aftermarket parts.
