W M Automotive Deploying Epicor Eagle Software Across Company Stores and Affiliates

The company already has completed implementation of Epicor Eagle at 19 company locations and three independent stores.

DUBLIN, Calif. – Epicor Software Corp. announced that Fort Worth, Texas-based automotive parts distributor W M Automotive Warehouse Inc. is deploying the Epicor Eagle for the automotive aftermarket business management software across its network of 40 wholly owned stores, as well as several affiliate locations throughout Texas and Oklahoma. The company already has completed implementation of Epicor Eagle at 19 company locations and three independent stores.

“Epicor Eagle is a modern and very powerful solution that will help us provide superior service to our customers while running our entire business more efficiently,” said W M Automotive President Wilson McMillion. “All of the feedback from our employees has been very positive as we have made the transition to the new software. This is clearly a system we will be able to grow with for many years to come.”

A member of the Automotive Distribution Network, W M Automotive was founded by Wilson and Pat McMillion in 1976. Today, the business has 275 full-time employees and operates expansive warehouse and headquarter operations in Fort Worth. The company’s wholly owned Parts Plus stores previously used the popular Epicor J-CON business management software.

Now in use at more than 7,000 business locations, the Epicor Eagle solution provides counter professionals with fast, easy access to all of the tools needed to provide a superior customer experience, according to Epicor. The solution also enables the user to complete more transactions per day, more accurately and efficiently, for increased sales and improved margins, the company says. The software’s highly intuitive Microsoft Windows-based interface helps accelerate a full range of point of sale operations and minimize employee training time.

“Our counter people really like having all of the different tools available with just a click of the mouse. The software is very easy to learn and Epicor does a great job supporting our employees through online training,” said Haley Kudrna, W M Automotive trainer.

“Epicor Eagle is one of the most popular store solutions for aftermarket businesses that are focused on delivering superior customer service and maximizing the efficiency of their counter and back-office operations,” said Craig McCollum, executive vice president and general manager, retail distribution solutions for Epicor. “W M has enjoyed significant growth through their use of Epicor products and we’re very pleased they have invested in this proven solution to take their business to the next level.”
