BROOKFIELD, Wis. – Milwaukee Tool’s new pry bars are designed to meet the demands of professional mechanics.
“Whether trying to remove stuck, rusted parts, punching out bearings or doing suspension work, pry bars experience an incredible amount of heavy torque,” the company explained in a news release. “This makes long-lasting durability an outright must. Unfortunately, today’s pry bars have a tendency to flex, bend or break in the handle, blade and tip.”
Not so with Milwaukee pry bars, according to the company.
The new-to-market I-Beam design increases the blade’s bending strength, according to Milwaukee Tool, and the all-metal core defends against flexing or loosening of the shank and ensures that the strike cap doesn’t pop off.
The cap is made of chrome vanadium to protect against breaking when struck by a hammer, and the chrome-plated shaft provides resistance to corrosion and abrasion.
In addition, the santoprene handles feature an ergonomic, tri-lobe design for a secure grip, according to the company.
