Lubrication Specialties Inc. Announces 20th Anniversary

In 2004, LSI developed its first automotive and heavy-duty transportation product. Hot Shot Secret Stiction Eliminator is an oil additive for gas and diesel-powered vehicles that removes close to 100 percent stiction; i.e. the gummy, sticky residue of caked-on oil varnish that often builds up on injectors, bearings, turbos and engine components.

Lubrication Specialties Inc. (LSI) is pleased to announce the company’s 20th anniversary. Founded in 1997 by Chris Gabrelcik, LSI began as an equipment chemical solutions provider for commercial and industrial accounts for major manufacturers including: Nucor Steel, American Showa, Midwest Industries, X-Tec and Navistar. The company’s initial focus was on keeping equipment running in top shape by developing proprietary chemical and lubrication formulations. This “Powered by Science” philosophy permeates the company’s business philosophy and is the basis for the company’s recent growth into the automotive and heavy-duty aftermarket.

With one application of Hot Shot’s Secret Stiction Eliminator vehicles experience fewer hard starts, rough idling and black smoke, in addition to an improved performance of injectors and turbos, increased power and fuel efficiency. Stiction Eliminator is formulated to clean and lubricate the entire oil system from the turbo, bearings, injectors, rings and oil pump.

Today, LSI offers a full line of oil and fuel additives for gas and diesel engines under the brand – Hot Shot’s Secret offering a line of 30+ products online and at retailers throughout the USA including: PETRO, Tractor Supply, Love’s, Pilot, Meijer, Walmart.com, AutoZone, Travel Centers of America and more. In 2014, LSI purchased Frantz Filters, a company that provides superior filtering systems for diesel and gas heavy-duty trucks and also added a third division, Fluid Recovery that provides responsibly produced, premium antifreeze/coolant products through a patented refinement process.
