I have a 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier. My cruise control rarely works. When it does, I can't use the blinkers or it will shut off. What might the problem be? The blinkers work just fine. It's just my cruise control is messed up.

It's just my cruise control is messed up. Also, my car randomly tries to die on me when I'm coasting in neutral, about to come to a complete stop. Help!

The cruise control switch is part of a multifunction switch that also controls your turn signals and headlights. It is likely that a loose connection in the switch is causing the cruise malfunction. When the cruise does operate, using the turn signals may be jarring the loose connection and breaking the connection, cancelling the cruise function. Replacing the multifunctioning switch is the likely cure.
