AASA Executive To Speak At Mexico Automotive Summit 2022 ECHO

Brucato will discuss the importance of appropriate access to vehicle data in the automotive aftermarket.

Ben Brucato, vice president of engagement for the Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association (AASA), will present virtually at the Mexico Automotive Summit 2022 ECHO on Sept. 29.

Brucato will discuss the importance of appropriate access to vehicle data in the automotive aftermarket during a session called, “The Right to Repair: Access to Vehicle Data.” He’ll also talk about what AASA is doing to support the industry in the fight for consumer choice and a fair marketplace.

“With the growth of new vehicle technologies, including cloud-based connectivity, telematics, OTA software, EVs and ADAS, the aftermarket repair community must have access to vehicle repair data,” Brucato said. “A fair marketplace and the ability for consumers to choose where and with what part their vehicles are serviced is fundamental to our society and culture.”

The Mexico Automotive Summit 2022 ECHO, a hybrid event, will take place Sept. 28-30, beginning with one day of in-person conferences and networking opportunities, a second day for online conferences and networking and a third day exclusive for online networking.
