Free Webinar Will Ignite Your Spark Plug Knowledge

Free Webinar Will Ignite Your Spark Plug Knowledge

The Feb. 27 webinar will cover spark plug nomenclature, electrode design, high-ignitability spark plugs, new spark plugs designs and more.

Do you speak spark plug?

Most part numbers are a meaningless series of numbers and letters. But spark plugs have a language on the side of the box that can tell you what’s inside. Like any other language, there are dialects.

The nomenclature of spark plug part numbers can tell you everything from size (diameter and reach) to what materials are on the center and ground electrode.

Like learning a new language, knowing how to translate spark plug numbers can open up a new way to inventory and sell spark plugs for counter professionals. The part number also can help technicians identify if the spark plug matches what originally came with the vehicle.

In “Counter Squad: Spark Plug Options” – a free Counterman webinar sponsored by NGK/NTK – you’ll learn how to speak spark plug and learn some tips for translating what’s on your parts screen to what the customer needs for spark plugs.

In this 45-minute webinar, experts from NGK’s Shop Squad also will cover:

  • Electrode design
  • High-ignitability spark plugs
  • Precious-metal electrodes
  • OE and equivalent spark plugs
  • New spark plug designs

Plus, the trainers will discuss additional sales opportunities such as ignition coils, boots and tools.

As a thank you for attending, 25 randomly selected attendees who complete the survey at the end of the event will receive a $10 Amazon gift card.

“Counter Squad: Spark Plug Options” is scheduled for 2 p.m. Eastern time on Feb. 27. To register for this free Counterman webinar, click here.

If you can’t attend live, you can still register. We’ll send you a link to the recording after the webinar is over, so you can watch it on-demand at a time that’s convenient for you.
