ROANOKE, Va. – Advance Auto Parts has announced the appointment of Jason Howes to vice president, distribution operations.
 
Advance reports that Howes will be responsible for leading the company’s continued efforts to build a world-class distribution network that ensures efficient delivery and superior availability to stores and commercial customers. Howes will report to Charles Tyson, executive vice president, merchandising, marketing and supply chain and will be based in Roanoke Va.
 
Prior to joining Advance, Howes served as senior director of distribution and global strategic operations for Bare Escentuals Beauty Inc. Prior to Bare Escentuals, he served as director of operations and inventory management at Corporate Express Inc., where he also previously held the role of warehouse and facilities manager.
