Auto-Wares Tech Expo Goes Virtual

Auto-Wares Tech Expo Goes Virtual

The event will take place Feb. 11-13.

With just under a week to kickoff, the Auto-Wares Group of Companies virtual Tech Expo continues to grow registration.

For the first time in the expo’s 22-year history, Auto-Wares is hosting it virtually. The event will take place Feb. 11-13.

“A virtual show allows more industry professionals to take advantage of valuable training sessions,” said Todd Leimenstoll, CEO of Auto-Wares Group of Companies. “Education and training are critical considering the rapid changes happening in vehicle technology. Auto-Wares has worked hard to create sessions that are engaging, fun, and offer real business value to attendees.”

Tech Expo offers training, networking and parts experience for automotive service and parts professionals.

Typically held in person in Grand Rapids, Michigan, each February, the 2021 event will be streamed online. The easy-to-use platform enables attendees to watch from their desktop or mobile devices and features options for one-on-one supplier appointments, a video booth show, in- session chat and hundreds of resources and links.

This year’s event includes 44 seminars from some of the best trainers in North America, including Jeff Cowan of ProTalk (offering service-advisor training); John Thornton of Mobile Diagnostics Business (discussing engine mechanical and fuel-trim diagnostics); and Steve Trapp of Axalta (presenting on improving body shop sales mix).

The digital exhibitor booth show will feature networking with more than 100 suppliers and more than $40,000 worth of prizes.

As of early February, Auto-Wares already had registered 2,600 automotive professionals. The company expects attendance to top 3,000. Following the live event, training replays will be available to attendees for 90 days, until May 10.
