Advance CEO Tom Greco To Keynote AASA Vision Conference

Greco will speak during the supplier-only “Customer Spotlight” segment.

Tom Greco, CEO of Advance Auto Parts, will be the keynote speaker for the 2022 AASA Vision Conference in Dearborn, Michigan.

Greco will speak during the supplier-only “Customer Spotlight” segment and will cover this transformative time in the aftermarket, which requires suppliers and customers to collaborate closely. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear responses to questions asked of the leader of one of the largest automotive aftermarket suppliers in the country in a post-presentation Q&A session.

“From the onset of COVID-19, one of our key priorities has been to position Advance to emerge even stronger from the pandemic, and our supplier partners play a vital role in ensuring this happens,” Greco said. “Now more than ever, we need to collaborate to address the challenges we all face, immediately and longer-term. I look forward to sharing my perspectives at the upcoming AASA Vision Conference and hearing questions and feedback from our highly valued suppliers.”

Vision will kick off with a welcome reception at the Henry Ford Museum on April 5 and then will dive right into a full day of presentations, breakout sessions and networking on April 6. The conference attracts all functions within aftermarket companies, including executives, sales, marketing, category and product management from the aftermarket’s top suppliers and channel partners.

“We are extremely grateful to have Tom join the 2022 AASA Vision Conference,” said Paul McCarthy, CEO and president of AASA. “These sessions between supplier leaders and key customers are critical to help relationships grow and develop so success can be achieved by all. His presentation will undoubtedly be a major highlight of this year’s event.”

Greco joined Advance Auto Parts in April 2016 and has held his current role as president, CEO and a member of the board of directors since August 2016. Previously, Greco served as CEO and a member of the Advance board of directors from April 2016 to August 2016.

Prior to joining Advance, from September 2014 until April 2016, Greco served as CEO of Frito-Lay North America, a unit of PepsiCo Inc.

Greco is a dedicated supporter of many charitable organizations, including the American Heart Association Heart Walk in Dallas and Raleigh, JDRF, Building Homes for Heroes and United Way.

He earned his bachelor’s degree from Laurentian University in Sudbury, Ontario, and a master’s degree from the Richard Ivey School of Business in London, Ontario.
