2002 Ford explorer smells like coolant and loses water/ coolant. There are no external leaks. Intake manifold gasket?

The intake could be one issue. Could also be the heater core or heater hoses. Check your passenger floor board for wetness and also look in the area where the hoses connect to the heater core and see if there is any rust looking discoloration. Matthew Vaughn O’Reilly Auto Parts

2006 Jeep Commander 3.7L rough idle at lights and slight hesitation on the freeway, Vaccum issue?

Could be vacuum, a TPS, or a MAP sensor. Hard to tell without hooking it up to a diagnostic scanner and checking the values for all of them. Matthew Vaughn O’Reilly Auto Parts

i have a 2004 Jeep Wrangler that has a bad “death wobble” at 50mph,i have changed the track bar and the wheel bearings and tie rods seem tight,i have also changed and balanced the front tires, any ideas?

Assuming stock ride height and tire size, and that everything is tight, the next logical step would be to check alignment, paying particular attention to toe and caster. Many Jeepers agree that these two alignment angles have the largest impact on the death wobble. Once you identify and fix the cause, you may consider upgrading

on a 1998 kia sportage what does the word HOLD mean on the dash cluster?

"HOLD" is a feature which drops the transmission down a gear when you are climbing steep hills or passing. The HOLD light on means you are currently in hold mode. It can be activated/deactivated via a button on your shift lever. If it is flashing, it indicates a stored trouble code related to the transmission.

is it better to follow the “change oil” light on the dash or to follow the usual 3 month/3000 mile oil change routine?

As long as you check your oil level and condition between oil changes on a regular basis, there is usually no harm in following the 5,000-mile or more intervals recommended by the OEM. The problem occurs that as the vehicle gets older and more mileage on it there are many other wear items that need to be checked
