What car does Albany brake pads PN MKD376 and MKD242 fit?

FMSI #376 pads fit various W-Body GM (Lumina, Monte Carlo, Grand Prix, etc…) applications from late 80’s-2001. FMSI #242 pads fit various Toyota, Geo and Chevy Nova applications from the 80’s and 90’s. Tom Dayton JS Auto Supply

I have 91 4runner V6 3.0 4×4, the shifter is loose and the key does not come out of the ignition, does not turn back all the way, Is the shifter bad or just some bushings?

It’s very likely that bushings are worn out and hardware has loosened on the shifter of a 21-year-old vehicle. Even Toyotas need some maintenance and restoration now and again! Take it apart and examine everything that moves in the shift console. The good news is that Toyota continues supplying parts that would be obsolete for

i have a 1987 ranger stx 2.9L 4×4 and i have the crapola autohubs. i have done everything to fix them such as replace the cam and clean hub body.

when the truck is up on my lift, the hubs engage properly (grab the left front and the right front spins so all is well, no clicking or anything) i though i had solved the problem, well think again i put the truck on the ground, engaged 4×4 and all it did was ratchet and spin… my question now is if i can just grab the whole manual hub set up on a 83-90 ranger, lock nuts and hubs everything like that and if it is a direct swap.

I had one of the sprayers for my washer fluid stop working. When i try to spray the washer fluid only dribbles out on the one side. Any suggestions?

Could be a bad washer pump or a blockage in the lines or nozzle. I’d check the pump first. Matthew Vaughn

My 00′ dodge neon has 207k + miles on it with both original motor and transmision. I routinely change oil and flush the transmission like one should. What can I further do to prolong the life of the motor and transmission?

It sounds like you’re doing it. So long as you keep up with routine maintenance and be religious about it, there’s no reason why you can’t get many more miles out of that power train. Matthew Vaughn

I have a 2007 pontiac grand prix gxp. When I apply the brakes it makes a horrible high pitch squeal. I replaced the pads rotors and put anti squeal on the rotors as well.

I have tried many different brands and qualities with no luck. The car has done this since new and even the dealer said that there wasn’t anything they could do about it. please help

What could cause a voltage regulator to repeatedly fail on a 72 Dodge pickup

It would be very difficult to diagnose an electrical problem on a 40 year old vehicle, sight unseen. If you have a good local electrical shop which specializes in restoration of older vehicles, it might be best to give them a chance to check the wiring harnesses and circuits. I have a 2006 Chevy Monte Carlo. When I move the Knob Indicator from Closed Vent to Open Vent it begins to make a clicking sound behind the dash. It does this for 30 seconds then goes away. What might it be?

You have a vent mode actuator with a bad diaphragm. Most people don’t fix them if it involves removing the complete dash. If the one acting up can be reached from underdash or with the glove box removed, the actuator is probably available from AC Delco, an HVAC supplier or the dealer can order one

on a 2001 s-10 it just cranks ( 4.3 ). all ignition parts cap, rotor. module, coil etc has been replaced.

the fuel pump is preasureized. new charging items alt. bat. are new. what is the possible problem(s)? in real need of some good news before going to the dealer

I have a ’98 Jeep Cherokee. The rear hatch door is stuck closed.

No matter what I do it will not open. When the power lock is activated one can hear it working but it will not open manually when using the key. Do you know what I can do to fix this problem? I work at O’reilly store #2760 in case you can get ahold of me there.

why do people go into auto parts stores and ask for non-automotive items?

I wouldnt go to my John Deere dealership and say:”you got a water pump for my camaro?” my son works for a national auto parts chain and i hear this alot when i go into his store
